WorldFest Independent Film Festival
The New Life has been nominated for a Remi Award at the 40th edition of WorldFest Independent Film Festival in Houston, Texas, U.S.A. WorldFest nominates only the four top entries of each category and gives Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze awards; hence The New Life has already won one of these. We still don't know which one but we'll have the answer very soon. With more than 4,500 entries in the 40th Annual WorldFest, including over 500 features and 1,500 shorts; to be selected for an award is therefore a very significant honour... from the festival that discovered Spielberg, Lucas and Lynch. WorldFest Independent Film Festival will take place on April 20th to 29th. The Gala Remi Awards Dinner is scheduled for Saturday 28th April. More details will be published soon.
