Show Me Shorts Film Festival
The New Life has been selected to compete at the Show Me Shorts Film Festival in New Zealand. This is the only film festival dedicated to show shorts from both sides of the Tasman. It is a great opportunity for local filmmakers as the festival tours around New Zealand's four major cities: Auckland, Dunedin, Christchurch and Wellington. This will be the New Zealand's premiere of The New Life, and ironically, that will give the film a bigger exposure over there than what it has had in Australia. Director Daniel Giambruno is likely to attend one of the last screenings of the festival. Show Me Shorts Film Festival will take place from November 8th to December 1st 2007. The New Life will screen as part of the block entitled I See Dead People. I may attend one of the last sessions (probably Wellington's one)
