The New Life has been selected to compete at 15th edition of the Santiago International Short Film Festival in Chile. During its fifteen years of existence, this festival has become one of Latin America's most important. Short films have conquered their own cultural space in Chile and they are actually booming as a form which has even made its incursion in cinemas and TV channels. This wouldn't be the case if the Santiago Short Film Festival wasn't there. Throughout the years, they have played more than 2500 shorts, and brought home the best exponents from around the world to the thousands of viewers who attend the event every year.
