LA Shorts Fest
The New Life has been selected to compete at the LA International Short Film Festival in California, United States. The notification e-mail read: "Reviewing the many films submitted we found your short represents the caliber of work we want to participate in our Festival. We here at LA Shorts Fest pride ourselves on being the largest short film festival in the world. In past years, 25 participating films have earned Academy Award nominations, with 8 filmmakers actually taking home the Oscar. We are honored to be including your film in our Festival this year, we wish you good luck and look forward to meeting you." It is an honour to be part of this event and a great (and rare) chance for American film fans to watch The New Life. The LA International Short Film Festival takes place from 5th to 16th September. The New Life will screen on Wednesday 12th September at 3:15pm at the Festival's venue.
