Filmstock International Film Festival
The New Life has been selected to screen at 8th edition of Filmstock International Film Festival in Luton, United Kingdom. Since its first event, the Filmstock International Film Festival has seen many changes. However, the devotion to independent shorts, features and documentaries remains, along with the idea that the filmmaker should be welcomed with open arms but treated no differently to the audience or festival team. Our previous short Twitch was screened here in 2001 when the event was barely one year old. I will be able to attend the upcoming edition to present The New Life in person and finally get to meet the festival's organisers. Filmstock will take place November 1st thru November 11th 2007 at The Hat Factory in Luton, UK. Details of the screening of The New Life will be published here as soon as they become available.

I attended the Filmstock Film Fest and it was great. A fantastic line-up of films, an really good projection (both vision and audio wise) and all the nice people I managed to meet, including the organisers Neil and Justin. The New Life was very well received and we received a lot of great feedback. Below you can see some photos taken during the event, including the wall of fame!
